अर्थ: माया एक अत्यंत शक्तिशाली और मोहक शक्ति है जिसने संपूर्ण संसार को भ्रमित कर रखा है। इस मायाजाल में हर कोई फँसा हुआ है, लेकिन केवल वही व्यक्ति मुक्त हो पाता है जो अपनी पारिवारिक परंपराओं, सामाजिक बंधनों और कुल के अहंकार को तोड़कर सत्य की खोज में निकलता है।

Meaning: Maya is an incredibly potent and enchanting force that has deceived the entire world. Everyone is trapped in this web of illusion, and only the rare seeker—the true Sadhu—manages to escape by breaking the shackles of lineage, ancestral pride, and the restrictive norms of their social caste.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह माया एक डाकिनी या राक्षसी की तरह है जो सभी मनुष्यों को अपने मोहजाल में फंसाकर उनका आध्यात्मिक अस्तित्व निगल जाती है। लेकिन जो संत या ज्ञानी लोग हैं, उन्होंने इस माया के 'दांत' (शक्ति और आकर्षण) को उखाड़ फेंका है, इसलिए वे इसके प्रभाव से मुक्त होकर इसके समीप रहकर भी अछूते रहते हैं।

Meaning: Kabir describes Maya as a predatory demoness (Dakini) who consumes the spiritual essence of all human beings through attachment and illusion. However, the enlightened saints have effectively 'plucked out the teeth' of this illusory power, meaning they have neutralized its grip, allowing them to exist within the material world without being consumed by it.

अर्थ: हम इस भौतिक संसार में माया के मोह और भ्रम के साथ पैदा हुए हैं। जब तक हमें एक सच्चे गुरु का मार्गदर्शन नहीं मिलता, हम इस चक्र में फंसे रहते हैं। सतगुरु ही वह मार्ग दिखाते हैं जिससे हम इस मायावी बंधन से मुक्त होकर उस परम सत्य या परमात्मा में विलीन हो सकते हैं।

Meaning: We entered this worldly existence entwined with the illusions of Maya. Until a True Guru reveals the path, we remain lost in the cycle of attachment. The Satguru provides the essential guidance needed to transcend this illusory bondage and merge back into the Eternal Truth or the Divine Source.

अर्थ: यह संसार समय और मृत्यु का एक अंतहीन गर्त है, जहाँ प्रकृति के तीन गुण—सत्व, रजस और तमस—असंतुलित और विपरीत रूप में कार्य करते हैं। माया की यह रीति ऐसी है कि मनुष्य जिस भी दिशा में सुख खोजता है, उसे अंततः दुख और रिक्तता ही प्राप्त होती है, क्योंकि वह बाहरी जगत में शांति खोज रहा है।

Meaning: This world is an endless mine of time and mortality, where the three gunas—Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas—operate in a distorted and conflicting manner. Such is the way of Maya (illusion) that wherever a human seeks happiness in the external realm, they find only sorrow and emptiness, for they are chasing shadows in a transient world.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी चेतावनी देते हैं कि यह संसार और माया एक ठग की तरह है जो हमें क्षणिक सुखों के स्वाद में फँसाकर भ्रमित करती है। माया एक ऐसी वेश्या के समान है जो लुभाती है पर अंततः धोखा देती है। इसलिए, केवल उस निराकार राम (परम सत्य) को मजबूती से पकड़ो ताकि यह बहुमूल्य मानव जीवन व्यर्थ न चला जाए।

Meaning: Kabir warns that the world and Maya act as deceptive cheats, alluring us with the fleeting taste of sensory pleasures. Maya is compared to a courtesan who seduces but ultimately betrays. Therefore, one must hold firmly onto the eternal 'Ram' (the Formless Truth) to ensure that this precious human birth is not squandered in illusion.

Despite one's desperate attempts to flee or escape its grip, Maya relentlessly pursues the seeker, striking them repeatedly with the piercing arrows of desire, attachment, and worldly distraction.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब परमात्मा का दिव्य रंग आत्मा पर चढ़ जाता है, तो फिर कोई भी सांसारिक या अशुद्ध रंग उसे प्रभावित नहीं कर सकता। जैसे-जैसे साधक की वाणी और आंतरिक चेतना शुद्ध होती है, यह आध्यात्मिक रंग और भी गहरा और प्रगाढ़ होता जाता है, जिससे वह पूर्णतः ईश्वरमय हो जाता है।

This tree offers no true coolness or mental peace; its fruits are tasteless and unsatisfying, serving only to increase the internal heat of restlessness and physical suffering within the seeker.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि शरीर तो मृत्यु के अधीन है और समय के साथ नष्ट हो जाता है, लेकिन मनुष्य का मन और उसकी अंतहीन इच्छाएं नहीं मरतीं। शरीर बार-बार जन्म और मृत्यु के चक्र से गुजरता है, परंतु वासनाएं और तृष्णाएं इतनी प्रबल होती हैं कि वे आत्मा को बंधन में जकड़े रखती हैं, जिससे वास्तविक मुक्ति संभव नहीं हो पाती।
