अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह मन अत्यंत लालची और अज्ञानी है। यह आध्यात्मिक साधना और ईश्वर के स्मरण में तो आलस दिखाता है, परंतु भौतिक सुखों और सांसारिक भोगों के उपभोग के लिए सदैव तत्पर और उत्साहित रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that the human mind is inherently greedy and ignorant. It exhibits profound laziness when it comes to spiritual practice and the remembrance of the Divine, yet it remains perpetually alert and eager when the opportunity for material consumption and sensory pleasure arises.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य को अपने चंचल और अहंकारी मन को नियंत्रित करना चाहिए और उसे अपने हृदय के भीतर ही सीमित करना चाहिए। जैसे एक हाथी को नियंत्रित करने के लिए अंकुश का प्रयोग किया जाता है, वैसे ही विवेक और अनुशासन के माध्यम से मन की अनियंत्रित इच्छाओं को मोड़कर अंतर्मुखी होना आवश्यक है ताकि आध्यात्मिक शांति प्राप्त हो सके।

Meaning: Kabir urges the seeker to subdue the restless and egoistic mind, confining its wandering nature within the sanctuary of the heart. Just as a mahout uses an ankush (goad) to control a wild elephant, one must employ the tool of spiritual discipline and discernment to redirect the mind's outward cravings toward inner realization and stillness.

अर्थ: जब तक मन की चंचल इच्छाएं और विचार पूरी तरह समाप्त नहीं होते, तब तक एक नए प्रकार का उच्च मानसिक स्तर या बोध नहीं आता। जब मन पूरी तरह स्थिर और निस्तब्ध हो जाता है, तभी साधक को अपने वास्तविक आध्यात्मिक ठिकाने या परम सत्य की प्राप्ति होती है।

Meaning: Until the restless desires and fluctuations of the mind cease to exist, a different, higher state of consciousness cannot emerge. Only when the mind becomes absolutely still and motionless does the seeker finally find their true spiritual abode or the ultimate destination of the soul.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस चंचल मन की कहानी और उसकी प्रकृति को समझना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। जो व्यक्ति अपने मन के वास्तविक स्वरूप और उसकी कार्यप्रणाली को पूरी तरह समझ लेता है, वह जन्म और मृत्यु के चक्र (काल) से मुक्त हो जाता है और शाश्वत शांति प्राप्त करता है।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस संसार में साधारण मनुष्य और बड़े-बड़े ज्ञानी मुनि भी स्वयं को और दूसरों को भ्रम में रखते हैं। वे मन के अहंकार और माया के जाल में फंसे हुए हैं। जो व्यक्ति इस मानसिक छल और अहंकार से मुक्त हो जाता है, वह तीनों लोकों के बंधनों से ऊपर उठकर परम सत्य को प्राप्त कर लेता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that everyone, from the common man to the most learned sages, is deceived by the illusions of the mind. They are trapped in the cycle of ego and worldly attachment. Whoever manages to escape this internal deception and the traps of the mind transcends the three realms of existence to attain ultimate liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि कोई छोटा सा छेद हो जाए तो बारिश की बूंदें उसे भर देती हैं, फटे कपड़े को धागे से सिला जा सकता है, और शरीर के घावों को औषधि से ठीक किया जा सकता है, लेकिन यदि मन टूट जाए या बिखर जाए, तो उसे जोड़ने वाला कोई बाहरी साधन या उपचार उपलब्ध नहीं है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that a tiny gap in nature is filled by the rain, a torn garment is mended with a thread, and a wounded body is healed with medicine. However, when the mind or the spirit is fractured or broken, there is no external tool, remedy, or physical place that can mend it, highlighting the fragility and complexity of the inner self.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य का मन स्वभाव से निम्न और अशुद्ध है, जो उसे अधम कार्यों की ओर आकर्षित करता है। अहंकार के कारण मनुष्य उस आध्यात्मिक अमृत (ईश्वर या सत्य) को त्याग देता है जो उसके भीतर है, और इसके बजाय वह सांसारिक मोह-माया और विषैले विकारों में प्रेम लगाकर अपना जीवन नष्ट कर लेता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the human mind is rooted in lowliness, naturally gravitating toward base desires and ignoble actions. Driven by ego and pride, the individual rejects the divine nectar of spiritual truth residing within, choosing instead to embrace and cherish the poisonous illusions of the material world and egoic attachments.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि किसी को इतनी बेरहमी से क्यों मारना या तोड़ना कि वह टुकड़ों-टुकड़ों में बिखर जाए? यदि तुमने स्वयं अपने जीवन में विष रूपी कड़वाहट और द्वेष की क्यारी बोई है, तो अब जब तुम उस विषैले फल को काट रहे हो, तो पछतावा क्यों कर रहे हो?

Meaning: Kabir asks why one resorts to such extreme violence or cruelty that it shatters another human being into pieces. He posits a spiritual law of causality: if you have spent your life planting a garden of poison—filled with hatred, malice, and ego—why do you now lament and grieve when you are forced to harvest the bitter fruits of those very seeds?

अर्थ: जब मनुष्य अपने आंतरिक द्वंद्वों और मानसिक उलझनों में फंसा रहता है, तो उसे पूरा संसार जटिल और समस्याग्रस्त प्रतीत होता है। लेकिन जब वह गुरु के ज्ञान द्वारा स्वयं को सुलझा लेता है और आंतरिक स्पष्टता प्राप्त करता है, तो संसार का भ्रम समाप्त हो जाता है और सत्य प्रकट होता है।

Meaning: When a person remains entangled in their own internal conflicts and mental knots, the entire world appears complex and problematic. However, once they unravel themselves through the wisdom of the Guru and achieve inner clarity, the illusion of the world dissolves and the ultimate truth is revealed.

अर्थ: मनुष्य का मन अत्यंत चंचल है और वह निरंतर अपनी इच्छाओं, भावनाओं और विचारों के रंगों को बदलता रहता है। बहुत कम लोग ऐसे होते हैं जो अपनी चेतना को एक ही स्थिर सत्य या परमात्मा के रंग में रंग पाते हैं और उसमें अडिग रहते हैं।

Meaning: The human mind possesses countless colors, shifting its moods, desires, and perceptions from one moment to the next. Very few rare souls are capable of remaining anchored in a single, unchanging color—the singular truth of the Divine or the steady state of pure consciousness.
