अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह मानव शरीर नश्वर है और एक दिन निश्चित रूप से समाप्त हो जाएगा। यदि आप इस जीवन में कुछ सार्थक करना चाहते हैं, तो अपनी ऊर्जा को सही दिशा में लगाएं। संतों की निस्वार्थ सेवा करें और उस निराकार ईश्वर (गोविंद) के गुणों का गान करें, क्योंकि यही वह एकमात्र निवेश है जो मृत्यु के पार भी साथ रहता है।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य का जन्म अत्यंत दुर्लभ है और यह शरीर बार-बार नहीं मिलता। जिस प्रकार वृक्ष से एक बार पत्ता गिर जाए, तो वह दोबारा कभी उस डाली से नहीं जुड़ता, उसी प्रकार मृत्यु के पश्चात यह भौतिक शरीर पुनः प्राप्त करना अत्यंत कठिन है, अतः इस अवसर को व्यर्थ न गंवाएं।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that human birth is an exceedingly rare opportunity and this physical form is not granted repeatedly. Meaning: The physical body is like a wooden frame, and time is the termite that relentlessly consumes it bit by bit. The true physician of this body is the Divine; no mortal can fully grasp the hidden secret of existence and the inevitable transition of death.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जब मनुष्य जीवन के अंतिम क्षणों में होता है या गहरे आध्यात्मिक संकट में होता है, तब कोई उसकी सहायता के लिए आगे नहीं आता। हम दुनिया भर के रिश्तों और सामाजिक बंधनों की तलाश करते हैं, लेकिन अंत में यह स्पष्ट होता है कि सभी लोग केवल अपने स्वयं के सांसारिक बोझ और मोह-माया के भार से दबे हुए हैं।

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी एक चलती हुई चक्की को देखकर विलाप करते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि जिस प्रकार चक्की के दो पाटों के बीच आकर कोई भी अनाज का दाना साबुत नहीं बचता और सब पीसकर चूर्ण हो जाते हैं, ठीक उसी तरह इस संसार के द्वंद्वों और माया के चक्र में आकर कोई भी मनुष्य अपनी मूल आत्मा की अखंडता को बचा नहीं पाता।

Meaning: Observing a grinding mill in motion, Kabir weeps in profound realization. He observes that once the grains enter between the two heavy grinding stones, not a single grain remains whole; all are crushed into powder. Similarly, caught between the dualities of this material world and the crushing cycle of Maya, no human being manages to preserve the wholeness of their original, primordial soul.
