अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि आप सबको पानी पिलाने के लिए घर-घर घूम रहे हैं, जबकि हर घर में पानी का स्रोत मौजूद है। यदि व्यक्ति के भीतर अहंकार और अज्ञान की शुष्कता (तुषावंत) है, तो वह प्यासा ही रहेगा, चाहे उसके चारों ओर अमृत का सागर क्यों न हो।

Meaning: Kabir observes that one wanders from door to door offering water, oblivious to the fact that every home already possesses a reservoir. Meaning: The seeker who has truly recognized the essence of the Divine Name (the formless Absolute) finds their physical frame reduced to a mere skeletal cage. In the intensity of this spiritual awakening, sleep vanishes, and the body sheds its fleshy attachments, reflecting a total transcendence of material desires and bodily cravings.

अर्थ: जो व्यक्ति उस निराकार राम के विरह में व्याकुल है, उसका शरीर अत्यंत संवेदनशील हो गया है। कोई भी उसे व्यर्थ में दुखी न करे या उसे स्पर्श करने का प्रयास न करे, क्योंकि वह इस समय एक ऐसी नाजुक स्थिति में है जैसे कोई कोमल बेल हो, जिसे हल्का सा छूने पर भी वह मुरझा सकती है या टूट सकती है।

Meaning: The one who is consumed by the agony of separation from the Formless Ram possesses a body rendered hypersensitive by longing. Let no one cause them further distress or touch them harshly, for they have become as fragile as a tender vine; even a slight touch could lead to their spiritual or physical collapse in the intensity of their devotion.

Meaning: A soul longing in separation has prepared the lamp of devotion and prays for a vision of the Divine (Ram). She questions, 'If You grant me Your vision only after I have died, what purpose does Your arrival serve then?' She demands a living, present realization of the Truth here and now.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि हे हंस, तुम्हारा रंग तो स्वर्ण जैसा सुंदर है, लेकिन मैं तुम्हारी केवल बाहरी सुंदरता की प्रशंसा कैसे कर सकता हूँ? जब तुम वृक्ष की शाखा पर बैठकर अपनी मधुर तान छेड़ोगे और अपनी वास्तविक प्रकृति का प्रदर्शन करोगे, तभी मैं तुम्हारी सच्ची सराहना करूँगा।
