अर्थ: यह मार्ग अत्यंत कठिन है, जैसे तलवार की तेज धार पर चलना हो। यदि मन में थोड़ा भी संदेह या अस्थिरता आई, तो साधक आध्यात्मिक पतन का शिकार हो जाएगा, लेकिन जो पूर्णतः स्थिर और अडिग रहता है, वही इस संसार रूपी सागर से पार उतर पाता है।

Meaning: The spiritual path is exceedingly difficult, akin to balancing on the razor-sharp edge of a sword. Should the seeker waver or succumb to doubt, they will fall into the abyss of illusion; however, those who remain steadfast and unwavering in their resolve shall successfully cross the ocean of existence.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी यहाँ 'सेती' (सफेदी या लेप) के माध्यम से आध्यात्मिक परिपक्वता की बात कर रहे हैं। वे कहते हैं कि केवल पका हुआ या परिपक्व ज्ञान ही स्थायी लाभ और शांति देता है। कच्चा या अधूरा ज्ञान, जो केवल बाहरी दिखावे पर आधारित है, अंततः मनुष्य के शारीरिक, मानसिक और भौतिक सुखों का विनाश करता है।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि आपका संबंध किसी अज्ञानी या पशु-तुल्य व्यक्ति से पड़ गया है, तो अपने हृदय में क्रोध या चिड़चिड़ापन न रखें। जिस प्रकार बंजर भूमि में बीज बोने से फसल नहीं उगती, उसी प्रकार अज्ञानी व्यक्ति में ज्ञान डालने का प्रयास व्यर्थ है, चाहे आप उसे कितना भी दोहराकर समझाएं।

Meaning: Kabir suggests that if you find yourself entangled with someone who possesses an animalistic or ignorant nature, do not allow resentment or anger to fester in your heart. Just as a seed will never sprout in barren soil, spiritual wisdom will not take root in a mind closed by ignorance, regardless of how many times the truth is sown.

Meaning: When a person masters their senses and the restless mind, the heart naturally becomes tender and compassionate. Such an individual maintains absolute purity in their conduct, and their thoughts remain perpetually immersed in the stillness of divine consciousness and spiritual equilibrium.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि भादों के महीने की नदी की तरह, जब भावनाएं उफान पर होती हैं, तो भक्ति का प्रदर्शन करना आसान होता है। लेकिन वास्तविक और प्रशंसनीय भक्ति वह है जो जेठ की तपती गर्मी जैसी कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी स्थिर, शांत और अडिग रहे।

Meaning: Kabir explains that devotion fueled by emotional surges is like a river in the month of Bhadon (monsoon)—loud and overflowing, yet common. True, commendable devotion is that which remains steady, deep, and unwavering even during the scorching heat of Jeth (summer), symbolizing the most difficult trials of life.
