अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि 'शब्द' (दिव्य ध्वनि या आंतरिक सत्य) की महिमा अपार है, जो एक चुंबक की तरह कार्य करता है। जिस प्रकार चुंबक लोहे को अपनी ओर खींचता है, वैसे ही यह शब्द आत्मा को परमात्मा की ओर खींचता है। बिना इस आंतरिक शब्द के ज्ञान के, मनुष्य चाहे कितने भी बाहरी उपाय या कर्मकांड कर ले, वह संसार के बंधनों से मुक्त नहीं हो सकता।

Meaning: Kabir proclaims the supreme glory of the 'Shabd' (the Divine Word or Inner Sound), comparing its power to that of a magnet. Meaning: Kabir observes that the vast majority of customs and traditions practiced by society are rooted in worldly gain, ego, and material self-interest. The path of true spiritual essence or 'Parmarth' (the ultimate truth) is exceedingly rare, and in this age of Kali, those who genuinely seek the Divine without selfish motives are few and far between.

अर्थ: यह संसार एक घने और अंधेरे जंगल की तरह है, जिसमें हमारा मन एक मदमस्त हाथी के समान है जो अनियंत्रित होकर भटक रहा है। इस हाथी रूपी मन को नियंत्रित करने वाला अंकुश केवल 'ज्ञान' का रत्न है, जिसे केवल सच्चे साधु और संत ही प्रदान कर सकते हैं और चलाना जानते हैं।

Meaning: This world is like a dense, dark forest where the human mind wanders like a wild, intoxicated elephant, uncontrolled and reckless. The only tool capable of taming this elephantine mind is the 'jeweled goad' of spiritual knowledge, which is wielded and bestowed only by the enlightened saints and seekers of truth.

अर्थ: मनुष्य का मन अत्यंत चंचल है और वह निरंतर अपनी इच्छाओं, भावनाओं और विचारों के रंगों को बदलता रहता है। बहुत कम लोग ऐसे होते हैं जो अपनी चेतना को एक ही स्थिर सत्य या परमात्मा के रंग में रंग पाते हैं और उसमें अडिग रहते हैं।

Meaning: The human mind possesses countless colors, shifting its moods, desires, and perceptions from one moment to the next. Very few rare souls are capable of remaining anchored in a single, unchanging color—the singular truth of the Divine or the steady state of pure consciousness.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मन न तो मोटा होता है और न ही पतला; यह पानी की तरह तरल और अनुकूलनशील है। मनुष्य जिस प्रकार के विचार अपने मन में धारण करता है और जिस भाव को पुष्ट करता है, उसका व्यक्तित्व और जीवन का अनुभव ठीक वैसा ही बन जाता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the mind possesses no fixed thickness or thinness; rather, it is fluid like water. Whatever thoughts a person harbors and whatever intentions they cultivate within their consciousness, their entire existence and character eventually mold themselves into that very shape.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि केवल दूसरों के मतों, शास्त्रों या बाहरी उपदेशों के पीछे आँख मूँदकर नहीं चलना चाहिए, क्योंकि ऐसा करने से मनुष्य अपनी अंतरात्मा की स्वाभाविक आवाज़ और जीव की सहज प्रकृति को खो देता है। यह वैसा ही है जैसे कतवारी (बुनाई के उपकरण) का सूत गलत दिशा में उलझ जाए और पूरी संरचना ही विपरीत हो जाए।

Meaning: The entire world is wandering in a state of profound delusion, where every individual is shackled by 'upadh'—the superficial labels of caste, creed, status, and ego. To rescue humanity from this intricate web of ignorance and to guide them toward the ultimate truth, enlightened saints and spiritual masters manifest in this world.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि इस संसार में मन से बड़ा कोई मोहक नहीं है जो हमें भ्रमित करे, और मन से बड़ा कोई चोर नहीं है जो हमारी आध्यात्मिक चेतना को चुरा ले। केवल एक सच्चा ईश्वर-भक्त (हरिजन) ही वह पारखी है जो सत्य और असत्य के बीच का सूक्ष्म अंतर पहचान सकता है; उसके अलावा कोई और इस सत्य को देखने में सक्षम नहीं है।
