अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यह मानवीय जीवन एक नशे की रात के समान क्षणभंगुर है, जहाँ कोई भी व्यक्ति स्थायी या स्थिर नहीं रह सकता। जो व्यक्ति अपने समय का सदुपयोग सत्संग (सत्य के साथ संगति) में करता है, वही वास्तव में जीवन के वास्तविक फल और आध्यात्मिक उपलब्धि को प्राप्त करता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that human life is as fleeting and illusory as a night spent in intoxication, where no state of being remains permanent. Only those who dedicate their days to 'Satsang'—the company of truth and the enlightened—attain the true fruit of existence and spiritual liberation.

अर्थ: संसार में अहंकार, क्रोध और ईर्ष्या जैसे विषैले स्वभाव वाले लोग तो बहुत मिलते हैं, परंतु आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान और करुणा रूपी मणि धारण करने वाले विरले ही हैं। जब एक विषैला व्यक्ति किसी आत्मज्ञानी या प्रेमपूर्ण व्यक्ति के संपर्क में आता है, तो उसका विष समाप्त हो जाता है और वह अमृत तुल्य शांति को प्राप्त करता है।

Meaning: The world is teeming with 'Vishdhars'—those possessed by the poison of ego, anger, and hatred. However, 'Manidhars'—those who possess the jewel of spiritual wisdom and divine love—are exceedingly rare. When a poisonous soul encounters a jewel-bearing soul, the toxicity is neutralized, and the poison is transformed into the nectar of immortality and peace.
