अर्थ: जिस परम आनंद और शांति की खोज में महान ऋषि-मुनि कठिन तपस्या करते हैं और जिसे पाने के लिए साधारण मनुष्य विलाप करता है या व्याकुल रहता है, वह दुर्लभ सुख वास्तव में संतों की सच्ची संगति और उनके मार्गदर्शन से सहजता से प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

Meaning: The supreme bliss and eternal peace that great sages strive for through rigorous austerity, and for which the common man laments in longing, can be attained effortlessly and naturally through the company of realized souls and the guidance of true saints.

अर्थ: सच्चे संतों और आत्मज्ञानी व्यक्तियों का साथ जीवन का सर्वोच्च आनंद है; अन्य सभी सांसारिक सुख अत्यंत तुच्छ और क्षणभंगुर हैं। जिस प्रकार मानसरोवर में केवल पवित्र हंस निवास करते हैं, जबकि बगुले हर जगह पाए जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार सत्य का मार्ग केवल शुद्ध हृदय वाले साधकों को ही मिलता है, जबकि पाखंडी हर जगह मौजूद होते हैं।

Meaning: The company of true saints and enlightened souls is the ultimate bliss; all other worldly pleasures are insignificant and fleeting. Just as the sacred Mansarovar is the abode of the pure swans, while herons are found everywhere, the path of Truth is accessible only to those with a pure heart, whereas hypocrites are ubiquitous in the material world.

However, this person fails to cleanse the inner workings of the mind and the ego. They desire the title and status of a 'disciple' or 'servant' without undergoing the rigorous internal purification required for true surrender.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि व्यर्थ के वाद-विवाद और तर्कों में समय नष्ट न करें। इसके बजाय, निरंतर एक ही विचार—परमात्मा के सत्य—पर ध्यान केंद्रित करें। जब मन पूरी एकाग्रता के साथ उस नाम (दिव्य चेतना) का स्मरण करता है, तब जीवन के सभी कार्यों में वास्तविक सार्थकता और पूर्णता प्राप्त होती है।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि पूरा संसार माला फेरने (दिखावे की भक्ति) में लगा है, लेकिन मन के भीतर की उथल-पुथल और विकार समाप्त नहीं हुए। हाथ की लकड़ी की माला को छोड़कर, अपने मन के भीतर के विचारों और विकारों की माला को बदलो और उसे शुद्ध करो।

Meaning: Kabir observes that the world is preoccupied with the mechanical act of counting beads on a rosary, yet the inner turmoil and psychological distortions of the mind remain untouched. He urges the seeker to discard the external bead of the hand and instead focus on transforming the 'beads' of the mind—the repetitive patterns of ego and desire.
