अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि जो साधक अपने गुरु की आज्ञा को पूर्णतः स्वीकार करता है और उसके निर्देशों के अनुसार अपने जीवन को ढालता है, वही वास्तव में संत है। ऐसा समर्पण उसे जन्म और मृत्यु के अंतहीन चक्र (आवागमन) से मुक्त करा देता है, जिससे वह मोक्ष प्राप्त करता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that a true saint is one who completely aligns their will with the commands of the Guru. By surrendering the ego to the Guru's guidance, the seeker transcends the repetitive cycle of birth and death, eventually achieving liberation from the material world.

अर्थ: जो व्यक्ति निरंतर अपने गुरु की महिमा का गान करता है और अपने मन को अत्यंत आनंद और संतोष में रखता है, वह इस संसार के जन्म-मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त हो जाता है। वह अंततः परमात्मा की शरण में विलीन हो जाता है, जहाँ केवल शाश्वत शांति और प्रेम का वास है।

Meaning: One who perpetually sings the praises of the Guru and maintains a state of profound inner joy and contentment transcends the cycle of birth and death. Such a soul is liberated from worldly existence and finds eternal refuge in the divine embrace of the Almighty.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि हे संतों और सज्जनों, मेरी बात ध्यान से सुनें और समझें। यदि आप वास्तव में अपने गुरु से प्रेम करते हैं और उनके प्रति श्रद्धा रखते हैं, तो केवल शब्दों से नहीं, बल्कि उनके द्वारा बताए गए मार्ग पर चलकर और उनके उपदेशों को अपने जीवन में उतारकर उस प्रेम को सिद्ध करें।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि गुरु को ही ईश्वर (गोविंद) के समान मानना चाहिए और सदैव उनके द्वारा दिए गए ज्ञान-शब्द में लीन रहना चाहिए। यदि गुरु साक्षात सामने हों, तो उनके चरणों में पूर्ण समर्पण के साथ दंडवत प्रणाम करना चाहिए, और यदि वे सामने न हों, तो हर क्षण उनके उपदेशों का ध्यान करना चाहिए।

अर्थ: इस दोहे में कबीर कहते हैं कि साधक को अपने गुरु के प्रति अटूट प्रेम और निष्ठा रखनी चाहिए, क्योंकि संतों का मार्ग केवल प्रेम के माध्यम से ही सिद्ध होता है। बिना प्रेम के ईश्वर या सत्य की प्राप्ति अत्यंत कठिन और दूर है, जबकि प्रेम के माध्यम से गुरु और शिष्य का मिलन सहज हो जाता है।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि अपना संपूर्ण शरीर और मन उस परमात्मा को समर्पित कर देना चाहिए जो इंद्रियों के विषयों और सांसारिक मोह-माया से परे है। जब मनुष्य अपने अहंकार और 'मैं' की भावना को पूरी तरह त्याग देता है, तभी वह वास्तव में उस परम सत्ता या साहिब के भीतर विलीन हो सकता है और शाश्वत शांति प्राप्त कर सकता है।

Meaning: Kabir exhorts the seeker to surrender their entire physical existence and mental faculty to the Divine, who exists beyond the reach of sensory desires and worldly attachments. Only by completely discarding the 'I-ness' or the ego can one truly merge into the presence of the Master (Sahib), achieving a state of eternal union and liberation from the cycle of suffering.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति अपने सद्गुरु की शरण को त्यागकर अन्य सांसारिक या बाहरी सहारेों पर भरोसा करता है, वह भ्रम में है। वह भौतिक सुख और संपत्ति की खोज में भटकता रहता है, लेकिन अंततः उसे न तो वास्तविक शांति मिलती है और न ही वह आध्यात्मिक पतन से बच पाता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that one who abandons the sanctuary of the True Guru to place trust in external or worldly supports is living in delusion. Such a person chases material wealth and fleeting pleasures, yet finds neither genuine peace nor a refuge from the inevitable spiritual descent.

अर्थ: कबीर दास जी कहते हैं कि वे लोग अज्ञानता के अंधकार में डूबे हैं जो गुरु को साधारण मनुष्य समझते हैं या उन्हें ईश्वर से अलग मानते हैं। यदि ईश्वर किसी कारणवश हमसे रुष्ट हो जाएं, तो संसार में कहीं न कहीं शरण मिल सकती है, लेकिन यदि गुरु रुष्ट हो जाएं, तो इस जगत में कोई दूसरा आश्रय नहीं बचता क्योंकि गुरु ही वह द्वार है जो ईश्वर तक पहुँचाता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that those who perceive the Guru as a mere mortal or distinct from the Divine are blinded by ignorance. He posits a profound spiritual hierarchy: while one might find solace or a sanctuary elsewhere if the Divine is displeased, there is no refuge in the entire universe if the Guru is displeased, for the Guru is the indispensable bridge to ultimate liberation.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि गुरु की छवि चंद्रमा के समान है और शिष्य की आँखें चकोर पक्षी की तरह हैं। जिस प्रकार चकोर पक्षी पूरी रात बिना पलक झपकाए चंद्रमा को निहारता रहता है, उसी प्रकार एक समर्पित शिष्य अपने गुरु के स्वरूप और ज्ञान में निरंतर लीन रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir suggests that the Guru's presence is like the radiant moon, and the disciple's eyes are like those of the Chakora bird. Just as the Chakora spends the entire night gazing unwaveringly at the moon, a devoted seeker remains eternally absorbed in the essence and guidance of the Guru.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि भ्रम और संदेह को त्याग कर उस परमात्मा (प्रियतम) के प्रेम में लीन हो जाओ। जब मनुष्य अपने अहंकार का विसर्जन कर गुरु के चरणों की शरण लेता है, तभी उसका जीव यमराज के भय और जन्म-मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त हो पाता है।
