अर्थ: इस दोहे में कबीर एक आध्यात्मिक यात्रा का वर्णन कर रहे हैं जहाँ वे ईश्वर (खुदाई) से साक्षात्कार करते हैं। यहाँ मीरा का उल्लेख एक प्रतीक के रूप में है, जो यह दर्शाता है कि जब आत्मा परमात्मा से मिलती है, तो वह बाहरी दुनिया के शोर और दिखावे से मुक्त होकर केवल उस परम सत्य के प्रेम और संगीत में लीन हो जाती है।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि यदि कोई व्यक्ति केवल बाहरी यात्राएँ करता है, जैसे मथुरा, द्वारिका या जगन्नाथ पुरी जाना, तो वह व्यर्थ है। यदि जीवन में सत्संग (सज्जनों की संगति) और ईश्वर की सच्ची भक्ति नहीं है, तो इन तीर्थों की यात्राओं से वास्तव में कुछ भी प्राप्त नहीं होता।

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि वे स्वयं को चंदन के समान शीतल और सुगंधित मानते हैं, परंतु उनकी संगति आक और पलाश जैसे कड़वे और ज्वर पैदा करने वाले पौधों के साथ है। यदि उनके आसपास उनके जैसे ही विचारशील और आध्यात्मिक लोग होते, तो वे मिलकर एक सकारात्मक परिवर्तन ला सकते थे।

Meaning: Kabir likens himself to a fragrant piece of sandalwood, yet he finds himself surrounded by the toxic and scorching nature of the Aak and Palash plants. He laments that if he had companions of his own spiritual caliber and temperament, they could have collectively cultivated a transformative and harmonious environment.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि विभिन्न कुओं और बावड़ियों का पानी अलग-अलग स्वाद और गुणों का होता है, और लोग उन्हें अलग-अलग पहचानते हैं। लेकिन जब यही अलग-अलग धाराओं का पानी पवित्र गंगा नदी में मिल जाता है, तो अपनी व्यक्तिगत पहचान खो देता है और केवल 'गंगाजल' कहलाता है। यह आत्मा के परमात्मा में विलीनीकरण का प्रतीक है।

Meaning: Kabir observes that water from various wells and ponds is distinct in taste and identity, and people perceive them as separate entities. अर्थ: जो व्यक्ति सत्य को जानकर भी उसे त्याग देता है और झूठ से प्रेम करता है, उसकी संगति से बचना चाहिए। कबीर कहते हैं कि ऐसे व्यक्ति का साथ स्वप्न में भी नहीं लेना चाहिए, क्योंकि सत्य का मार्ग केवल सत्यनिष्ठा से ही संभव है।

Meaning: One who consciously rejects the truth after realizing it and instead develops an affection for falsehood is a dangerous companion. Kabir warns that such a person should be avoided entirely, even in one's dreams, as spiritual progress is impossible in the company of deceit.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि उस परमात्मा से वही मिल सकता है जिसके हृदय में वह वास्तव में निवास करता है। यदि मनुष्य अपने भीतर के अहंकार को शीघ्र नहीं त्यागता और जागृत नहीं होता, तो उसे जीवन भर अज्ञान और मानसिक द्वंद्व की पीड़ा सहनी पड़ेगी।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that union with the Divine is possible only for those who have cultivated the presence of the Eternal within their own heart. If one does not awaken quickly and cast off the illusions of the ego, they are condemned to endure the perpetual agony of spiritual longing and mental fragmentation.

अर्थ: समुद्र में अनगिनत लहरें उठती हैं और फिर उसी में विलीन हो जाती हैं। कबीर कहते हैं कि वह साधक वास्तव में वंदनीय है जिसने अपनी चेतना को बाहरी संसार की लहरों से मोड़कर, अंतर्मुखी होकर उस परम तत्व में विलीन कर लिया है।

Meaning: Countless waves rise from the ocean and eventually dissolve back into it. Kabir proclaims that the truly blessed seeker is the one who has turned their consciousness away from the external ripples of existence and has merged back into the primordial source.
