अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि केवल वह परमपिता (खालिक) ही वास्तव में जागृत है, जबकि संसार के अन्य सभी जीव अज्ञानता की गहरी नींद में सोए हुए हैं। यदि मनुष्य इस आध्यात्मिक नींद से जाग जाए, तो उसके भीतर भरा हुआ अहंकार और वासनाओं का विष समाप्त हो जाएगा, और वह वास्तव में ईश्वर की सच्ची सेवा और समर्पण में लीन हो सकेगा।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that only the Creator (Khalik) is truly awake, while the rest of the world slumbers in the depths of ignorance. He suggests that if a human being can awaken from this spiritual lethargy, the poison of ego and worldly desires within them will be annihilated, allowing them to achieve a state of genuine devotion and selfless service to the Divine.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य ने उस परम सत्य या ईश्वर को पा लिया है, फिर भी वह उसे पहचान नहीं पा रहा है। वह बाहरी दुनिया में हीरा खोजने के लिए कठिन परिश्रम कर रहा है, जबकि वह अनमोल रत्न उसके भीतर ही मौजूद है। अज्ञानता के कारण वह बिना परख किए ही जीवन व्यर्थ गँवा देता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that although the human soul has already attained the Divine, it remains oblivious to this realization. Like someone scrubbing bones in search of a diamond, the seeker exhausts themselves in external pursuits. Due to a lack of spiritual discernment, the ignorant person lets life slip away without ever recognizing the treasure within.

अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि अज्ञानी व्यक्ति की बातें केवल शोर के समान होती हैं, जैसे किसी कुत्ते का अनावश्यक भौंकना। जिस प्रकार घोर अंधकार वाली रात में एक व्यापारी चोर की आहट या उसकी उपस्थिति को नहीं पहचान पाता, उसी प्रकार अज्ञानता के वश में होकर मनुष्य सत्य को पहचानने में असमर्थ रहता है।

Meaning: Kabir asserts that the utterances of an ignorant person are mere noise, akin to the aimless barking of a dog. Just as a merchant in the depths of a pitch-black night cannot distinguish the subtle movements of a thief, a soul blinded by ignorance remains oblivious to the presence of the Divine Truth within.
