Meaning: Kabir asserts that external chanting, austerities, pilgrimages, and ritual fasts have become hollow shells of devotion. अर्थ: किसी भी जीवित प्राणी की हत्या करना घोर हिंसा है, जो व्यक्ति के मस्तक पर प्रत्यक्ष पाप के रूप में अंकित हो जाता है। शास्त्रों और पवित्र ग्रंथों (निगम) में यह स्पष्ट कहा गया है कि ऐसा पाप करने वाला व्यक्ति कभी भी स्वर्ग या मोक्ष की प्राप्ति नहीं कर सकता।

Meaning: To kill any living being is an act of extreme violence that manifests as a visible sin upon the perpetrator's soul. The sacred scriptures (Nigams) explicitly declare that no one who commits such atrocities can ever attain heaven or the state of ultimate liberation.
