कबिरा हद के जीव सों, हित करि मुखै न बोल।
जो राचे बेहद सों, तिनसों अन्तर खोल।।
अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि जो लोग केवल सांसारिक सीमाओं, रीति-रिवाजों और बाहरी पहचानों में बंधे हैं, उनके साथ केवल ऊपरी व्यवहार करना पर्याप्त है, लेकिन गहरे आध्यात्मिक सत्य की चर्चा उनके साथ व्यर्थ है। वास्तविक संवाद और हृदय का मिलन केवल उन लोगों के साथ संभव है जिन्होंने 'बेहद' यानी उस असीम, सीमाहीन परमात्मा का अनुभव किया है और अपनी आंतरिक चेतना को जागृत किया है।
Meaning: Kabir suggests that while one should remain compassionate and kind to those trapped in the limitations of worldly identities and rituals, sharing the deepest spiritual secrets with them is futile. True communion and the opening of the inner heart are only possible with those who have attuned themselves to the 'Behad'—the Limitless Absolute—and have transcended the boundaries of the ego.
