Meaning: Kabir asserts that if the mind and heart are wandering elsewhere, merely placing the physical body in the company of saints yields no fruit. Just as a plain, un-dyed piece of muslin cloth cannot acquire color unless it is fully immersed in the dye, spiritual transformation cannot occur through external proximity alone without internal surrender.

अर्थ: सच्ची संगति के प्रभाव से शरीर और मन में एक गहरा कंपन पैदा होता है, जो अहंकार के टूटने का संकेत है। कबीर चेतावनी देते हैं कि इस आध्यात्मिक यात्रा में कभी भी कुभाव या नकारात्मक विचारों को हावी न होने दें, अन्यथा वह दिव्य प्रेम और स्नेह समाप्त हो जाएगा जो आत्मा को परमात्मा से जोड़ता है।

Meaning: The influence of true spiritual company (Satsang) causes the physical and mental being to tremble, signaling the dissolution of the ego. Kabir warns that one must never allow distorted emotions or negative tendencies to take root, lest the divine love and affection that bind the soul to the Ultimate Truth be extinguished.
