अर्थ: कबीर कहते हैं कि मनुष्य ने पत्थर की मूर्तियों को ईश्वर मानकर एक बड़ा व्यापार या पाखंड खड़ा कर लिया है। लोग पत्थर के टुकड़ों को भगवान समझकर खरीदते हैं, लेकिन वह पत्थर न तो बोलता है और न ही मार्गदर्शन करता है; वह केवल एक मूल्यवान लेकिन व्यर्थ वस्तु है जो सत्य से कोसों दूर है।
Meaning: Kabir critiques the practice of idol worship, stating that humans have created a commercial and ritualistic industry around stone images of the Divine. He points out the absurdity of purchasing a stone deity that remains silent and unresponsive, suggesting that such an investment is a spiritual loss and a distraction from the living truth.
